Scheduling Ideas for Program Directors
The Better Hour will fit nicely in several programming slots. Here are
a few ideas:
• Black History Month
• 10 pm slot after The American Experience or Frontline
• Following “all things British” (Masterpiece Theatre or Mystery)
• Sunday religious programming block
Better Hour Contest for High School
Students
Students can win up to $10,000. Inspired by the vision and character
of leading activist William Wilberforce and his crusade the end slavery
and transform culture, craft a project that will make your world a better
place. Enlist others to help, execute your plan, and document it online.
Prizes provided by the John Templeton Foundation. Deadline, March 1,
